The continuing PPA Story .......  PPA to Merge with Cre8

In celebrating ten years of successful operation, Power Planning Associates has both looked back on a sustained track record of professional consultancy services to the power sector worldwide and forward to meeting the challenges of a changing energy world.  We have worked in over 90 countries and with governments, regulators, banks, funding agencies, utilities and operators, both large and small, and are widely known and respected for our independent and professional services.

 

However – as with any successful enterprise – we need to evolve in order to continue to meet the changing requirements of our existing and potential customers. Having recently completed a study of market needs and opportunities in the energy sector it is now time for the company to move on to the next chapter.

 

For PPA to continue to grow and to expand the scope of its presence and operations it needs additional expert team members to support the growing breadth of its operations and to be able to provide world class innovative solutions for the smart management of integrated energy systems and their carbon footprints.

 

Power Planning Associates and Cre8 Energy have been working closely and successfully together for some time and our complementary skills provide the basis for an ever widening scope of professional techno-economic energy management and innovation services.  We are therefore pleased to announce that PPA and Cre8 Energy have agreed now to take advantage of this experience by merging their activities.  

 

The merger of PPA and Cre8 Energy provides the platform for substantial growth both in the UK and the rapidly expanding international energy and carbon management sectors.  The new operation will commence trading as PPA Energy over the next couple of months.

 

PPA Energy will be based at our head office in Guildford, UK, and we will continue our commitment to the African Region through our office in Johannesburg.  We will also retain the relationships and facilities previously developed by Cre8 at Imperial College, London, as these provide a valuable link to cutting edge research on issues relating to energy sector innovation and sustainability.

 

There are a number of activities we need to do to re-brand the business so customers and contacts will see some changes to PPA and Cre8’s websites and publicity materials over the next couple of months. For the meantime existing email addresses and telephone numbers for PPA team members remain unchanged, but we will announce further changes in due course.
